About Us

The Mississippi River Landowners Alliance (MRLA) was formed on March 1, 2013. MRLA is focused on lands located within the Mississippi River Flood plain, which may include holdings as far north as Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri. It is anticipated that the majority of lands included in MRLA will be forested and will have recreational use as a primary consideration in land management decisions.

The purpose of MRLA is to provide an avenue of communication regarding such items as land management, marketing of timber and recreation, regulation, and laws that impact land ownership including hunting and fishing.
